Arkansas State Police Corporal Don Johnson, 46, of Lewisville, was recently promoted to post supervisor in the Highway Patrol Division at ASP Troop D, headquartered in Forrest City.
According to a press release, Johnson is one of two state troopers who received promotions late last month. Johnson, who is being promoted to sergeant, is an 18-year veteran of the ASP and was most recently assigned to highway patrol duties in the Lafayette County area in Southwest Arkansas.
Sergeant Mark Hollingsworth, 53, of Mountain Home, was promoted to the rank of lieutenant and will assume command duties of Company E within the department’s Criminal Investigation Division.
Hollingsworth is a 28-year veteran of the department and most recently served as a Special Agent supervisor in Company E.
