Mrs. Elizabeth Adams, age 86, of Forrest City, died Friday, Dec. 9, 2016, at St. Bernard's Hospital in Jonesboro. She had been in the hospital for the past week.
Mrs. Adams was born April 9, 1930, in St. Francis County and was the daughter of William Albert Stephens Sr. and Gladys James Stephens Taylor. She lived in St. Francis County most all of her life, was retired from the Holiday Inn, and was a member of the Oak Hill Church of God.
Mrs. Adams is survived by two daughters, Laura Robbins of the home and Linda Porter of Jonesboro; one sister, Barbara Rodgers of Petal, Miss.; three brothers, Larry Stephens of Colt, Laughton Stephens of Lakeland, Fla., and Charles Stephens of Winter Haven, Fla.; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, two sisters, and a stepfather, Albert Paul Taylor.
Visitation for Mrs. Adams will be Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2016, from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m., at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in Forrest Park Cemetery under the direction of Stevens Funeral Home.
