Forrest City senior Trey Thompson signs a national letter of intent with the University of Arkansas Razorbacks basketball program this morning, the first day of the early signing period, during a ceremony held at Mustang Arena. Thompson, a 6’10” center for the Forrest City Mustangs, is shown with his sister, Keyma Thompson, left and his mother, Kim Britt, right. Also seated at the table, but not pictured was Thompson’s grandmothers, Lela Goodwin and Erma Henderson. Thompson was one of two prospects to sign with Arkansas today and becomes the fifth Forrest City athlete in the past seven years to sign with Arkansas.
