The conclusion of the Tactical Combat Casualty Care course, held for emergency medical technicians, took place at the Forrest City Civic Center on Wednesday. The EMTs in the course were tested with an active shooter drill that involved an injured police officer, played by the dummy on the floor. The EMTs had to check the “officer” in complete darkness and remain quiet to avoid becoming a victim of the shooter who was still on the loose.
