The East Arkansas Enterprise Community is preparing for its 19th annual public meeting, which will be held Tuesday, Nov. 21. The meeting will be held at the Forrest City Civic Center, starting at 10 a.m. There will be a board meeting at 9 a.m., as well as informal period for meeting and greeting.
The Forrest City Civic Center met Tuesday night to review the status of the civic center’s catering contract with Marcus Freeman and M&M Catering. Melvin Tinsley, commission chairman, informed the commissioners that he had contacted the mayor and the city attorney to get approval for adding a late fee to the catering contract.
