Mr. Thomas M. Johnson, age 86, died Thursday, Nov. 3, 2016, at his home in Palestine.
George “Sonny” Thomas was born Nov. 10, 1949 in Forrest City and was baptized at Christ Episcopal Church. He attended elementary and High School there.
Mrs. Lovie Mae Boyd-Collins was born Jan. 5, 1955, to the late Mattie and Nathan Lee. She departed her life at the Crestpark Retirement Home in Forrest City on Oct. 28, 2016, at 12:50 a.m.
Mrs. Judy Gail Nelson, 60, died suddenly and unexpectedly of an apparent heart attack late at night on Monday, Oct. 31, 2016. Born Feb. 29, 1956, she was the daughter of Chloral Cox and Allienne Dill Cox. She was a secretary for St. Francis Farmers Association prior to her retirement. She was also a member of the Ridgewood Baptist Church.
Dr. Thomas Michael “Miko” Hayde, a resident of Eureka Springs, was born July 9, 1950 in Santa Monica, Calif., the son of Thomas Joseph and June Iris (Donnelley) Hayde. He departed this life Sunday, Oct. 16, 2016 in Eureka Springs, at the age of 66.
Mr. Darrel Galen Weddington, age 61, of Forrest City, died Friday, Oct. 28, 2016 at the N.E.A. Hospital in Jonesboro. He had been in the hospital for the past two weeks.
Charles W. “Dick” Krablin, age 83, died Saturday, Oct. 22, 2016, at Baptist Hospital in Memphis.
Mr. Charles Lee Lawson, age 81, died at St. Bernard’s Hospital in Jonesboro early Thursday morning, Oct. 20, 2016, after a long illness.
Joseph Sykes Sr., was born Nov. 2, 1935, in Heth, to Willie and Jessie Lofton Sykes. The eldest of nine children, he was a graduate of Mildred Jackson High School and served his country in the Army. After receiving an honorable discharge, he settled in Chicago.
David Lee Winslow, 85, of Bentonville died Sunday, Oct. 16, 2016, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale.
