Front Street fire 5/27

An afternoon fire leveled at least two buildings along historic Front Street. The cause of the fire is not known at this time, but is believed to have started in a dilapidated building. Fire fighters from at least the Forrest City, Caldwell, Palestine, Wynne and Marianna fire departments battled the blaze for many hours. No injuries had been reported as of 3 p.m. on Sunday.
