Home destroyed

Firefighters from Caldwell, Colt and Palestine were called to a fire at a home on Hwy. 261, west of Caldwell, Tuesday afternoon. The home of Katie Newborn was destroyed by the fire, and an 18-month-old child had to be airlifted to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital. The child was reported to be in stable condition this morning.
