Make and Take

Arkansas teachers are required to have 36 hours of professional development over the summer. Six of those will be met today by about 50 local teachers. Teresa Walker, left, who teaches third and fourth grades at the ALE School in Madison, and a Candi Hatcher, a seventh and eighth grade teacher at the ALE, work on a “Make and Take” project, which gives teachers ideas for games to pass on to their students.
