Palestine Parade 2018

The Palestine Christmas Parade on Monday featured 35 entries ranging from floats to decorated vehicles. Susan Thweatt drives Snoopy along the parade route in the photo above. At right, members of the choir of First Baptist Church at Caldwell perform on their first-place float. The Oak Hill Church of God float came in second. In the most creative category, Tim Astin won first place and Forrest City Medical Center won second. The Palestine-Wheatley cheerleaders took first place in the school category with the school’s marching band winning second place. First place in classic vehicles went to Mike Ramsey for his 1972 Chevelle and second place was awarded to Billy Stuman for his black Corvette. Woodruff Electric won first place in the commercial float category, and Hardwick Well Service won second place.
