Symbolic gesture

The Forrest City School District said a symbolic “Goodbye” to its fiscal distress designation Monday night as Superintendent Dr. Jerry Woods, left, throws the district’s fiscal distress records in the trash. Woods made the move during the Forrest City School Board’s regular meeting. The district will keep the records in its files.
