Honorary officer

 05/15/2019 - 15:10

Matt Parson, a friend and follower of area first responders, shows the badge and certificate he received Tuesday night during the Palestine City Council meeting. Parson was sworn in as an honorary law enforcement officer. Parson makes it a priority to show his support at every local event that first responders attend. When local officers found out he wanted to become a policeman, Arkansas State Police Troopers, the St. Francis County Sheriff's Department and the Palestine Police Department invited Parson to Palestine City Hall to thank him and make him an honorary officer of all three departments.
