Robotics kick off

The Forrest City High School robotics team recently attended the Searcy FRC (First Robotics Competition) Kickoff at Harding University in Searcy. Students attended workshops ranging from CAD (computer aided design) to basic and advanced techniques for machining, wiring, plumbing, and programming a FRC robot. Team members, front row from left, are: Earnest House, Trevion Williams, Brian Casey, Colby Britton and Jimmy Morrow, along with Forrest City School District Gifted and Talented coordinator Lenora Winston.
