The Forrest City Water Department recently installed its first water testing station in Forrest City. "We have to do tests every month on the water supply throughout the city," said Edward Gregory, with the Forrest City Water Department. "Before the test, we have to heat up the nozzle with a torch. That has caused problems to homeowners’ faucets and such in the past. This is our first water testing station and it will allow us to perform a test directly on the line to check for fecal chloroform and E. Coli."
