The St. Francis County Master Gardeners hosted a group of Pulaski County Master Gardeners on Saturday. The local group hosted a tour of area projects for their Pulaski County counterparts and others from the Cross County Master Gardeners. Sistas and Others, a support group for families who have lost a child, did not let the cool temperatures or rain stop them from this pre-Mother’s Day event on Saturday. The potluck dinner and program were held inside Forrest City Medical Center, followed by a balloon release to honor their children. Area residents traveled to the St. Francis County Courthouse this morning to observe the National Day of Prayer on the courthouse lawn.
