Helping tornado victims: The disaster relief team from First Baptist Church in Forrest City left today for Dumas in an effort to assist the tornado-ravaged town. According to group spokesman Ray Oswalt, the group expects to prepare 2,000 meals a day for the next few days. Blue Flu: Forrest City residents are getting ready for the upcoming Class 6A State Tournament which will be held in Jonesboro. The Forrest City Mustangs are the number one seed into the tournament and will play at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Gwin Lofton, the wife of Mustang’s coach Dwight Lofton, is pictured wearing a Mustang Blue Flu T-shirt in support of the team. Fans are being asked to show their support Thursday by wearing blue.
