Deadly decision: St. Francis County Sheriff’s Department Detective Glenn Ramsey, left, and Major Stanley Barnes look at a metal pole they believe was being used by Terry Padgett, 36, of Shell Lake, when he was electrocuted overnight Thursday. Final thoughts: Forrest City Mustang Coach Dwight Lofton and his four senior starters took time Thursday morning for last minute interviews before leaving for Hot Springs where they will play Jonesboro on Saturday, March 10, for the Class 6A state championship. Forrest City is playing in its first basketball state title game since the 1979-80 season when they lost to West Memphis in the Class 4A state championship game. From left, Kellon Bowman, Kelson Stewart, Lofton, Stephon Weaver and Marcus Britt. Saturday’s game against Jonesboro will tip at 12:45 p.m.
