Government offices and
many businesses will be closed
Wednesday for the New Year’s
Day holiday.
The St. Francis County
Courthouse and Forrest City City
Hall will be closed Wednesday,
reopening at the regular times on
Thursday.
The closings will affect trash
pickup throughout Forrest City
and some county routes.
Although garbage collection
on Wednesday will be pushed
back one day with the solid
waste departments planning to
catch up all routes on Friday,
residents are asked to go ahead
and place their garbage
containers on the curb on their
normal pickup day.
According to SFC Judge Craig
Jones, there will be no changes to
city routes serviced by the
county
