The Forrest City Community
Christmas Parade will begin at 7
this evening, leaving from
parking lot at the Forrest City
Civic Center.
Forrest City native Joey Astin,
who is the executive director of
the St. Francis Area
Developmental Center, is this
year’s grand marshal.
Float entries will need to be in
place by 6 p.m., for judging, with
all other entries being asked to
arrive before 6:30 p.m.
Trophies will be awarded to
winners in each of the float
categories prior to the start of the
parade.
Upon leaving the Civic
Center, the parade will travel
south on Washington Street to
Hill Street. There, the parade will
turn right and travel to the Grant
Street parking lot where it will
end.
