St. Francis County Master Gardener Jo Patterson carries a tray
of plants from the greenhouse to display at Vandiver’s
Newcastle Farms on Highway 284 North as the group prepared
for its annual plant sale that began at 8 a.m. today. The sale will
also be held until noon on Saturday. Only cash or checks will be
accepted as payment. Proceeds from the event help fund
scholarships for local students.
