The University of Arkansas–East Arkansas Community College will welcome three finalists for its chancellor position to campus next week, with each candidate scheduled to deliver a public presentation outlining their vision for the college’s future.
The presentations, themed “Leading with Purpose: Advancing UA-EACC’s Mission in a Time of Change and Opportunity,” are open to community partners, faculty, staff, students and the general public.
Each session will be held from 3:45 to 4:45 p.m. in the UA-EACC Lecture Hall, with introductions provided by Florine Milligan, chair of the UA-EACC Board of Visitors.
Finalists and presentation dates include:
- Steve Kuttenkuler, Ed.D. — Monday, April 27
- Adam O’Neal — Tuesday, April 28
- Steve Rook, Ed.D. — Wednesday, April 29
According to college officials, each candidate will share their priorities and leadership approach as UA-EACC continues to navigate growth and opportunity within the region.
Presentations will be recorded and made available following the final session. The college is encouraging attendees to provide feedback after each presentation through an online evaluation form.
“We would like to commend the advisory search committee for their dedication throughout this important process,” said committee chair Jerry Stegall. “Their efforts reflect a strong commitment to the future of our college. We look forward to welcoming the finalists to campus and seeing how they envision moving UA-EACC forward.”
